Continuing high rates of
unemployment and uncertainties about an energy-deficiency world economy
requires that the labour forces should become more and more marketable
entities for their survival.
Through the implementation of our
course structure we aim in rationalising modern teaching methodologies
and by the introduction of case study techniques, to enable the
participants to be given room to explore their existing know-how and
capabilities, their independence of learning, in their search of
defining what is right and wrong.
The entire set-up of the training
is based upon the utilisation of interactive participation that adheres
to the needs and forthcoming expectations of Cyprus industry (manufacturing,
service and tourism) The International Standards Organisation (ISO)
9000 series sets out methods by which a system can be implemented to
ensure that the specified requirements are met.
Senior management should take
responsibility for the adoption and documentation of the appropriate
procedural quality system within their organisation. Empowering people
to participate actively can be achieved through training programs, thus
management commitment should be propagated throughout the organisation.
The overall objective should be for the participants to drew up action
plans aiming to contributing to the overall performance. For a quality
system to be successful, it would need to be created by the workforce and
not for the workforce.
The workgroups aim in providing
knowledge and know-how to major subjects of quality and its audit as well
as motivating individuals (for this reason the maximum number of places per
course is limited to 16).
