Innovation and Development of the Industrial Infrastructure
The Institute of Technology plays a catalytic role in the promotion and adoption of new and
innovative technologies. The Institute promotes through European and other international
organisations and networks, the transfer and adoption of new technologies. The development
of the role of "Technology Broker" is mainly promoted through the European Network
EUROTECH and the Hellenic Productivity Centre, the Network for the Transfer of Technology of
the TII, the Austrian Organisation for the Transfer of Technology Salzburg Technologie Zentrum,
and the Irish organisations EOLAS and FORBAIRT.
The Institute plays a leading role in organising
presentations of high-technology industrial products and strives to remain at the forefront
of industrial innovation by organising and promoting the Innovation Fairs.
