Recognition of the Institute of Technology and its International Networking

International networking is a crucial factor for the provision of a continuous flow of information leading to the efficient utilization of business opportunities. With this in mind the Institute of Technology has established a remarkable cooperation network with foreign organisations in a number of countries.

These organisations, which deal in specialized subjects of industrial development include the Hong Kong Productivity Centre (H.K.P.C), the British organisation PERA International, the organisation CENTREDOC in Switzerland, and VENETO INNOVATION in Italy.

The Institute is a member of the Board of the European Union for the Transfer of Technology, Innovation and Industrial Information known as TII. Around 500 organisations from 32 countries, including all member countries of the European Community participate in the TII. In the 16 member Board of the TII, the Institute of Technology represents all the organisations from the 17 non-E.C members.

Furthermore, the Institute of Technology is one of the founding members of the Cyprus Society for Quality , and a board member of the Organisation for Promotion of Research, and of the Institute of Information and Technical Assistance for the Clothing Industry. The Institute of Technology is also co-founder of the Organisation for Research and Technology AETION that is based in Greece and which active undertaking research projects and consultancy assignments.

The Institute of Technology is a partner of UNISPHERE. UNISPHERE is an international organization based in Washington, DC supported by public & private partners in 23 countries. It operates a virtual venture market for firms with advanced technology products and services. All firms entering the market are vetted by UNISPHERE or one of its partners. To participate, firms must have good management and good technology and provide a standard abstract on their history, technology, management, and business objectives.
