POWER FOB uses the latest electronic technology in Energy Management
of hotel rooms or hotels apartments and not only. As long as the guest is in the room,has complete control of the electricity and the air condition, whether is sitting arround,is asleep, sitting on the balcony or using the bathroom.

From the moment that the room is no longer occupied, the system takes over the switches off or sets back the air condition, heating lighting and supply to the plugs(exluding the fridge and the bathroom lights). When the guest returns, before even entering the room,POWER FOB will switch electricity back as it was left beforehand. If during the occupancy of the room the balcony door or windows opens,it will cause the fan coilu unit to switch off instanlly and back or again when is closed.During the period the room is not occupied a green L.E.D will light discreetly for the use of the room maids and not only.
The system can be part of a total building management system. It can be monitored by Central station using telepnone lines and status can be charged without entering the guest room or even the hotel.

BASED ON RESEARCH,
the average guest:

Spends 11 hours in the room, which is 45.83% of the 24 hours.
87.69% of the guests never bother to switch off their air condition or lights.
Everybody, 100% leave their balcony doors open when sitting outside
A large percentage always leave their balcony doors slightly open
If we take into account that the rooms are not used for 13 hours, thus 54.16% of the hours and the saving is only on the 87.69% of the guests, we have 47.49% saving on the room energy consumption.

ADVANTAGES:
Pays back itself in very short time.
Easy installation in existing and new buildings without any cables showing
Contributes to National Economy
Prolongs life on earth
Environment friendly

Correct management of energy does not only mean more profit to the individual or the organisation and the national economy,but is our duty to the world as a whole, to prolong life on this planet, and our efforts should be directed towards this goal.
POWER FOB plays its part in the above efforts.

Perhaps...
you can do without it!

The question is ....for how long!!!

An average hotel room will use 16,000 BTUs on air condition. Our calculations are based on 10,000 BTUs per 1KW and the price of the KW is calculated at 0.42CYP per hour allowing for maximum demand.

1600w-16,000 BTUs
AIR CONDITION
80W - FAN COIL UNIT
300W-LIGHTING
1980W-TOTAL

1980W=1.98KW
1.98x0.042=CY 0.083 per hour
0.083 x 13=CY 1.08x87.69%
TOTAL=CY0.94
Thus CY0.94(1.61ECU) saving per room per day

(The above figures are obtained from a research using a hotel on the island of Cyprus)

The above saving is not taking into account the Energy saved by switching off the air condition when the customer is using the room but opens the balcony door and not taking into account the life expansion of the chiller,the fan coil unit and electrical appliances,etc.
