Consumer Price Index for the Month of December, 2000

The Consumer Price Index for December 2000 increased by 0,15 units or 0,14% to 107,87 units compared to 107,72 in November 2000. This is mainly due to increases in the prices of certain fresh vegetables and electricity while a decrease has been recorded in potato prices.

2. The average rate of increase of the Index for the whole year 2000 (January-December) compared to 1999 was 4,14%.
