Consumer Price Index for the
Month of February, 1998 |
The Department of Statistics and Research
announces that the Consumer Price Index for February 1998 decreased by 0,16 units or 0,13
per cent to 120,24 units compared to 120,40 in the previous month. This is mainly due to
decreases in the prices of certain fresh fruit, vegetablesand electricity.
2. The average rate of increase of the Index for the last twelve months (i.e. March
1997 - February 1998) compared to the preceding twelve months (i.e. March 1996 - February
1997) was 3,53%. |
