The Consumer Price Index for June 2001 increased by 0,81 units or 0,75% to 108,67 units compared to 107,86 in May 2001. This is mainly due to increases in the prices of petroleum products and certain fruit and vegetables. 2. For the period January-June 2001 the CPI recorded an increase of 1,95% compared to the corresponding period of 2000. The rate of increase of the Index for June 2001 compared to June 2000 was 3,0%.
