The Statistical Service announces that it has published the Annual Report "Health and Hospital Statistics" for the year 2000.

The Report gives information relating to the medical services provided by the public sector. It provides, inter alia, data on patients treated and discharged from hospitals, surgical operations, out-patient attendances, bed occupancy rates, information on medical, nursing and paramedical personnel, various health indicators, health expenditure, etc.

The Publication is available for sale from the Government Printing Office in Nicosia at C£8,00.
