How can I apply for Cypriot citizenship%3f

Answer:

a) By Naturalisation

Aliens persons over 18 years of old and of full capacity, who are residing legally in Cyprus during at least the seven preceding years and accumulate a total of at least seven years residence in the Republic, of which the one year prior the date of application is continuous residence in Cyprus, are entitled to apply for Cypriot citizenship. A birth certificate, a copy of their passport, a good character certificate, two photographs and the publication in a Cypriot newspaper for two consecutive days of their intention to apply for naturalisation, are required. The application must be submitted on form M.127.

b) As a result of marriage with a Cypriot citizen

Aliens persons, who are married to Cypriot men or Cypriot women, are entitled to apply for Cypriot citizenship, after completing three years of marriage and harmonious cohabitation with their Cypriot spouse. The marriage certificate, good character certificate, the birth certificate of the applicant and particulars of the Cypriot spouse (i.e. copy of Cyprus passport) are required. Also a certificate issued by the Chairman of Communal Council (Muktar) stating that the two spouses have been living continuously in his sector for at least two years immediately before the date of their application should be provided. The applicant must be legally residing in Cyprus. The application must be submitted on form M.125 (in duplicate).
