Hi all fellow Greek students I have made a webpage in honour of the Athenian poet Melissanthi, who died in 1991. The site includes five of her poems written in the original modern Greek (but with the old form of accents) and recited very beautifully by two of her friends (in mp3 format). The page also includes English translations by her English friend Diana Maynard and set to music and performed by me (also in mp3 format). http://www.dwsolo.com/indexmelissanthi.htm I hope that people here will appreciate this page. For interest, I have now typed out the original Greek of each poem in the Melissanthi site, since the original scans were hard to read and had all those antique accents.
