Περνάω

I have recently come accross the past tense of the verb "Περνάω" used in the following phrases:

α) καλώς τον!, ελα, Δημήτπη, πέρασε.

β) Πέρασε η ώρα!

I will be grateful if somebody will explain the meaning.

"Περνάω" it's one of these verbs that can be used in many instances.
