αυτουνού
by Guest User - Wednesday, 4 March 2009, 09:33 AM
I have come across this word in colloquial writing.
e.g. στο σπίτι αυτουνού του χαμένου
Does it have the same kind of meaning as English "this here" or "such a"?
Many thanks

  Γεια σας,

αυτουνού
is genitive from demonstrative pronoun αυτούνος, αυτούνη, αυτούνο and these pronouns have the same meaning as αυτός, αυτή, αυτό- this (this one). This is actually the same pronoun and the only difference is that these pronouns (αυτούνος, αυτούνη, αυτούνο) are colloquial.
Ι hope I've helped.
