  Hi... the way I do it is I listen to the audio and read the discussion notes at the same time. I take notes as I go. On some of them, someone was nice enough to make little quizzes to check what you have learned.

Since the audio isn't working though... its kind of hard to do.

  Hi,

I just found this site.  I signed on and noticed that you have my mother's maiden name (Nicolaou). I live in Phoenix, AZ.  I have relatives (uncle, aunt, first cousins, etc.) living in Greece.  My mother used to talk to us in Greek when we were little but it didn't really stick.  Do you live in Greece or are you visiting?

I am from Cyprus but i don't live there anymore. i am currently residing in Ohio, USA.
i don't live in Greece either but i usually visit it in the summer.

my mom and dad also talked to me in Greek when i was little, but as i grew up, i lost it since we moved here and mostly talked in English.

i use this site as a way to get back my greek so that i will be able to talk more fluently with my relatives who live in Cyprus.

do u visit greece often?

  Hey. I just started too, but I just read the notes and pretty much got it (I already know some Greek and I am learning so that I can talk to my relatives, too.) With a name like Christina Nicalaou, I would have figured that you already spoke Greek! My family is in Nicosia, Cyprus (the Greek part) and I just spent four months as an exchange student there. My cousins have the last name Nicolaou just like you and the other chick who replied! E-mail me. big-gulp@earthlink.net
