Just started the course here after many moons of trying to improve my Greek using the Michel Thomas courses and duolingo. We've been to Crete around a dozen times now over the last 20 years, and boy, their local dialect varies from village to village. I jokingly state that for me, greek is a "speak only" language as I'm having a hard time understanding those blazingly fast replies  All the best from Germany & thanks for running this site! Uwe |
