Whenever I read Greek books, I come across these words that seem to only be spoken as plural. τα χριστούγεννα Christmas τα γενέθλια Birthday τα γεράματα Old age τα ελληνικά Greek τα γυαλιά Glasses Do you know why this is the case and can you think of any more ONLY plural words? Thank you in advance, this site is really priceless and timeless for us struggling Greek learners. |
