1. Are you sure you typed this sentence accurately? Although it's not clear from your post whether the observer is a male or female, according to the way you typed this there is an implied επιγραφή in the latter part of the sentence. It functions essentially as an appositive for the phrase ενός γυμνού πέλματος in the first part of the sentence.
So, assuming that the observer is a male: μπορεί να έβλεπε την επιγραφή ενός γυμνού πέλματος -- της δικής του [επιγραφής] γυμνού πέλματος... = He could see the imprint of a naked foot -- of his own [imprint] of a naked foot. or in a little more literary style: της δικής του γυμνού πέλματος [επιγραφής]... = He could see the imprint of a naked foot -- of his own [imprint] of a naked foot. If a female, substitute της for του: -- της δικής της [επιγραφής] γυμνού πέλματος -or- -- της δικής της γυμνού πέλματος [επιγραφής]
By the way, your suggested version, το δικό της γυμνό πέλμα, which is also an appositive, must agree in case with its antecedent, genitive πέλματος: (if male) -- του δικού του γυμνού πέλματος... -or- (if female) -- του δικού της γυμνού πέλματος... 2. and some spelling corrections: δεύτερο (< δεύτερος, -η, -ο, L23), not *δεύθερο or *δεύστηρο το κομμάτι (L15), not *κομάτη ως (L75) εξής, not *ος εξής έννοια, not *αίνια αντιλήφθηκα (< αντιλαμβάνομαι), not *αντίλιπψα
