You can always use the diminutive endings:
Attach -ακης to the end of a man's name or masculine noun (eg, Κωστας becomes Κωστακης)
Attach -ιστα or -ουλα to a woman's name or feminine noun (eg, Ελενη becomes Ελενιστα or Μαρια becomes Μαρουλα)
Attach -ακι for neuter nouns (eg, το αδερφακι μου = my dear sibling)
Some Greek names have shortened equivalents which can also be used to show endearment (eg, Αλεξανδρος becomes Αλεκος).
