The
following pictures were taken during July 1998. The destruction of the village
is clearly evident. The church of Ayios Georghios is in still worse state. It is
used as a stable and a hay store. On the contrary the mosque built by the
occupants in their desperate attempt to alter the greek identity of the village
dominates the view of the village and it is the only significant structure built
after Dhavlos passed in the hands of the Turkish occupying military force. Please
click on the pictures to see an enlargement together with brief comments.
