The Greek "Π" (Πι-pi) shape in the center of the picture is the First Greek Elementary school of Lapithos. In total Lapithos had three Greek Elementary schools and a Greek Gymnasium (High school).

The Greek Orthodox churh of Ayias (Santa) Anastasias is in the yard of the Second Greek Elementary school in the parish of Ayias (Santa) Anastasias, in now occupied Lapithos.

A panoramic view of Lapithos sometime before the Turkish invasion of 1974. The Greek Orthodox church in the front part of the picture is dedicated to Ayia (Santa) Paraskevi. Sitting on the top of a hill in a Greek "Γ" (Γάμμα-Gamma) shape is the Second Greek Elementary school with the church of Ayia (Santa) Anastasia inside its yard. On the left of the same hill in a Greek "Π" (Πί-pi) shape is the First Greek Elementary school, of now occupied Lapithos.
