Lace-making at kyra Anna's patio, Kato-Dhrys

 It was the practice for village-folk to whitewash their houses for Easter. At Lefkara and Kato Dhrys it was a case of a 'bluewash' rather than a whitewash. Whatever the reason or tradition, the blue courtyards and seasonal plants and flowers have a rare beauty.
