' Thursday September 15, after hearing mass and eating an excellent breakfast , we wrote our diaries and then went in a great troop to bathe in the sea and there we rejoiced greatly for they came to tell us that all our company which had stayed in Nicosia had arrived . So we went to our lodgings for fear of losing our places , and after we had dined well I reckoned how much I had spent since Saturday . I spent only 24 gros .' |
