Power Supply Design from National Semiconductor

http://power.national.com

This is a place where designers can have access to application notes, parts databases, training materials, and even a discussion forum. Also on the site is Webench(tm) which is a collection of tools to help you design your next power supply.

At the core of Webench is a tool called WebSIM which allows you to simulate power devices over the Internet. WebSIM is simple to use and provides fast, accurate results. With WebSIM, there is no need to install and maintain your own software and hardware. Above all, it can save you a lot of time when you design your next power supply. WebSIM simulations are available at no charge to you.

This means we collect the models, create the simulations, maintain the servers, validate the results, and it is all available for your use.

A key service of the POWER site is My Webench. This is a personalized collection of your simulations and their corresponding bills of materials. You can select new parts based on specific characteristics such as parametric values, price, or manufacturer. You can also purchase parts and demo boards on line from National, our distributors, and other manufacturers.
