IATEFL CYPRUS ACTIVITIES

[INLINE]This month's talk/workshop is entitled :"The Internet in EFL:How can the Internet help the EFL teacher and learner." It will take place in Nicosia on 4th March 1998 at 8:30pm at Cyprus College and in Limassol on 11th March 1998 at 8:00pm at the Limassol premises of the Pedagogical Institute.

The talk/workshop will be given by Sophie Ioannou-Georgiou. Sophie has taught English in Private Language Schools, the State Primary Schools and the State Adult Education Centers. She is now teaching at the State Institutes and is seconded at the Curriculum Development Unit (primary Section) and the Pedagogical Institute.

membership fees are:

£5 for local membership

£18 for international membership.

An Iatefl membership, local or international, will entitle you to lower subscription rates at the British council library and lower fees for any Iatefl seminars or summer schools.

If you do want to subscribe, e-mail us with your address and we will send you an application form.

NEWS ON THE 9TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF IATEFL CYPRUS

[INLINE]The dates for this year's conference are 11-12 April 1998. It is going to take place at the Cyprus College premises in Nicosia. The names of some of the speakers and the final conference programme will be announced on this site..... so keep checking.

If you are interested in presenting a talk or a workshop at our conference please e-mail us with your proposed title and a short abstract . Also remember to let us know how much time and what equipment you will need.
