Every Belgian knows the "Sirop de Liege" for the simple
reason that he or she has been eating it since childhood.

Since the 17th century the farmers in the area of Liege were known already to produce a fruit spread with apples and pears from their orchards. It was, back then, a very clever way to preserve the fruit during winter.

In 1922 Mr Clement MEURENS started to produce fruit spreads following these ancient traditions, transferring the original recipe from father to son it is now in the hands of the fourth generation of the MEURENS family.

"Du Vrai Sirop de Liege" is a truly wholesome food made from pear, date and apple concentrated juices with sugar.

Rich in minerals and all natural product (no preservatives, no colourings, no artificial flavourings), "Du Vrai Sirop de Liege" is widely known as a healthy bread spread.

Prepared with 400 grams of fresh fruit per each 100 grams.

INGREDIENTS	cooked pear, date and apple juice concentrates, sugar (35%).
SHELF - LIFE	3 years.
