THE MBA
Our MBA is structured around a series of short,
intensive, courses which can be taken individually. Each course focuses
on a single topic. Students study only that topic during the length of
the course. The MBA programme covers nineteen intensive classroom weeks
plus a major project. In addition, there are study periods prior to examinations.
Class hours are from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
The following characteristics help to describe
our MBA programme:
-
The language of instruction is English.
-
Assessment is continuous. A combination of different
methods including class participation, written exercises and examinations
will determine the participant's grade.
-
Project work is an integral part of our degree programme.
-
Major emphasis is placed on developing computer-literate
graduates with an appreciation of the strategic and practical possibilities
of information technology. To this end, CIIM lecturers use simulation games,
spread-sheets and other computer exercises as part of their teaching methodology.
CIIM has well-equipped computer facilities.
-
Team exercises and management style presentations
are important components of all programmes.
THE MBA PROGRAMME AT CIIM IS INTERNATIONAL
IN:
Faculty: Lecturers from major European and
American universities are brought to Cyprus.
