Acting President of the Republic, President of the House of Representatives Mr. Dimitris Christofias sent today the following telegraph to the President of the United States Mr. George Bush:

"On behalf of the Government and the people of Cyprus please accept our deep condolences, sorrow and sympathy for the death of innocent civilians and the disaster caused by the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington D.C., which we strongly condemn."
