October 7, 2001

Cyprus Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides has announced that Cyprus will grant 100,000 thousand dollars in humanitarian aid for the Afghani refugees living in poverty and misery. Invited by press to say whether the aid would be sent to both opposing sides in Afghanistan, Kasoulides noted that there are no sides when we are talking about refugees and innocent victims, adding that the aid will be mainly granted through the United Nations campaign to relieve refugees.
