Official visit to India by the Minister of Commerce, Industry and
Tourism Mr. Nicos A. Rolandis (15-19 April,  2002)

The Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Mr. Nicos A. Rolandis is flying on Monday 15 April,  2002 to India for an official visit, after an invitation from the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of India Mr. Shri Pramod Mahajan. 

During the visit, Minister Rolandis will have a meeting with the Prime Minister of India.  He will also have meetings with the Minister of Tourism, the Minister of Commerce and Industry and the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Communications and Information Technology.  

Mr. Rolandis will have the opportunity during his stay in India to visit technological parks and also to exchange views with major companies/organizations that are dealing with high tech issues which is the main object of his visit.

In New Delhi Mr. Rolandis will be the guest of honour at a working lunch organized by the the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry in order to discuss the opportunities that are presented to the two countries for cooperation in high tech issues.

During the visit, Mr. Rolandis will be accompanied by the officers of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism Mr. Ioannis Shekeris and Mr. Spyros Zavros and also by the Professor of the University of Cyprus Mr. Christos Schizas and the Special Scientist of the University of Cyprus Mr. Costas Yenethlis.
