The Department of Statistics and Research announces that it has published the report "Labour Statistics" for 1997. The report provides data on imployment (Cypriot and foreign workers), unemployment, vacancies notified and filled, rates of pay, earnings and hours of work. Data ara also provided on the consumer price index, the cost-of-living allowance and comparable labour indicators for various countries.
