On the basis of the provisional results of the Passengers Survey,
arrivals of tourists reached 262.100 in June 2003 compared to 293.192 in
the corresponding month of the previous year, recording a decrease of
10,6%.
For the period January - June 2003 arrivals of tourists are estimated
at 892.655 compared to 1.017.387 in the corresponding period of 2002,
recording a decrease of 12,3%.
