Τhe Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KEBE) and the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation (ΟΕΒ) organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Tourism  and the French Riviera Chamber of Commerce & Industry a seminar on:

The establishment of a Technology Park in Cyprus
(Prospects and Capabilities)

The seminar took place on Monday 6 September, 2004 at Hilton Park Hotel in Nicosia and there were presentations both from Cypriot and French specialists. (Seminar Programme).

The main objective of the seminar was to have an exchange of information and experiences between the Cypriot and French side, on the basic aspects and parameters that are necessary for the successful establishment and operation of a technology park in Cyprus and the particular elements that should be considered by the Cypriot side for this project.

In this connection,  the contribution of the French experts was particularly important, because of  their experiences in the establishement and operation of the Sophia Antipolis Science Park in the French Riviera (Nice).  Equally important was the contribution and interaction of the participants during the seminar and has enabled the organisers to reach the best conclusions.
