People of Lapithos

Until 1960 Lapithos was the largest township in the Kyrenia district. Since then Lapithos continues to be the largest community in Greek population as well as in registered voters in the Kyrenia district. Based on the official data of November 1993, Lapithos ranks first with a total of 2300 voters, the city of Kerynia follows with 1918, Kato Dikomo with 1787 amd Karavas with 1705.
